Established electrical contracting company is currently seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician with 5 years or more experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be working on commercial and industrial electrical projects. Responsibilities
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings schematics and specifications while adhering to electrical codes
- Experience leading a small team of electricians and assigning required daily tasks
- Strong communication with the onsite foreman and other team members
- Capable of working independently
Requirements
- 5 years experience in commercial and industrial electrical projects
- 2 years of experience leading a small team of electricians is a PLUS
- Excellent communication skills and detailed oriented
- Must have a valid drivers license
- OSHA 10 minimum prefer OSHA 30
- Capable of reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
- Must have strong knowledge of the NEC
- Knowledge of Fire Alarm systems and other low voltage installations
- Capable of working on voltages 0600V AC
- Medium voltage experience of working voltages greater then 1kV is a PLUS
- Capable of working in a high reach scissor lift and/or bucket truck
- Understanding of grounding and bonding requirements for electrical systems
- Experience bending and installing conduit
- Underground duct bank and transformer vault experience
- Must be professional and demonstrate leadership along with a positive attitude promoting a team environment
- Four year certified training is a PLUS
