Our Client is looking for an IT Manager for a perm role in Lawrenceville GA.
This class is a managerial level class where incumbents are responsible for providing direction in the development implementation support and operations of a departmental unit within the client.
Responsibilities:
Supervises staff to include prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff are trained; ensuring that employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a healthy and safe working environment; and making hiring termination and disciplinary recommendations.
Coordinates work efforts and managing the flow of information to appropriate personnel preparing correspondence and various reports of a confidential or technical nature and provides research on special projects as needed.
Participates in special projects serves on a variety of committees and/or training sessions.
Manages information systems and technology projects activities functions infrastructure operations and resources. Manages projects and the activities of an assigned operational unit which includes planning coordinating administering and evaluating programs agreements contracts projects processes procedures systems standards and/or service offerings. Serves as a liaison between other departments and outside agencies.
Advises the department director of potential problems and develops solutions and makes recommendations relative to same. Consults and assists contractors. Develops and implements policies procedures technical standards and methods; collaborates with other IT sections to determine organizational goals and expectations related to information technology.
Prepares a wide variety of reports requests for proposals and/or other related documentation related to information technology plans projects performance and accomplishments. Develops manages and administers capital and/or operating budgets for assigned area of responsibility.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Skills:
Bachelor s Degree in a related field and five years of progressively responsible information technology experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
Licensing Requirements (positions in this class require): Valid Drivers License in State of residency. Knowledge (position requirements at entry): Strong personal leadership skills demonstrating a high level of accountability and ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
Experience presenting data and insights including the ability to effectively communicate ideas insights and recommendations to both technical and nontechnical leaders employees and business partners verbally and in writing. Robust program management skills including financial analysis competitive benchmarking employee feedback assessments and vendor management. Develop and maintain program schedules plans and budgets and report on progress and challenges.
Coordinate and work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient of the program.
Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved. Budgetary and procurement principles Skills (position requirements at entry): Monitoring and evaluating employees;

Physical Requirements:
Positions in this class typically require: fingering talking hearing seeing and repetitive motions. Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
