Exciting Opportunity: SchoolBased Occupational Therapist in Illinois!

This role involves conducting thorough evaluations to assess students motor sensory and cognitive abilities ensuring targeted and effective intervention. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing fine motor skills sensory processing and overall functional development. Maintaining detailed documentation of assessments therapy sessions and student progress will be a key responsibility. Collaboration is essential as you will work closely with educators and families providing valuable insights during IEP meetings and strategic planning. Additionally you will recommend assistive tools and environmental modifications to create a more supportive and accessible learning environment for students.

Requirements

Valid Illinois Occupational Therapy license.
State certification with an OT endorsement.
Master s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Previous experience in pediatric or schoolbased occupational therapy preferred.
