About you

• This is a hybrid position Candidates must be able to work onsite in San Jos Santa Ana Costa Rica.

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies: 

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of handson software development.
• 2 years of technical leadership.
• Mastery in persuasive communication to effectively present technical proposals.
• Deep understanding of the technological landscape with strong analytical skills to assess and manage risks proactively.
• Preventive approach in identifying and mitigating technological risks.
• Excellent organizational skills to craft comprehensive technical documentation and maintain accurate and updated records.
• Skill in creating solution diagrams.
• Ability to justify budgets clearly highlighting tangible benefits with experience in budgeting and evaluating different scenarios to make informed decisions.
• Ability to share knowledge foster collaboration within the team and think creatively to find innovative solutions.
• Up to date with current market trends and analytical skills to provide strategic insights.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities: 

• Actively engage in discovery sessions proposing concrete solutions for clients needs.
• Generate nonfunctional requirements from discussions held in discovery sessions extracting key conclusions and needs.
• Formalize and organize client documentation ensuring it is orderly and uptodate for easy access and reference.
• Thoroughly assess the clients technological state and propose modernization strategies aligned with their goals and needs.
• Identify and mitigate client technological risks anticipating potential challenges and proposing preventive solutions.
• Develop detailed technical documentation and solution diagrams that address aspects such as scalability resilience durability and disaster recovery.
• Justify decisions and budgets convincingly supporting each choice with solid arguments and detailed analysis.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders both technical and nontechnical ensuring clear understanding and effective collaboration.
• Drive innovation aligned with business objectives identifying opportunities to improve processes and create new business opportunities.
• Distribute project knowledge effectively throughout the team ensuring all members are informed and understand essential details.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with client objectives ensuring all actions are in line with established goals.

Qualifications :

• Experience with Microservicesbased Solutions and Distributed Architectures.
• Strong foundation in Software Development Design Patterns and Security.
• Well versed in Agile Methodologies and Cloud Services.
