Job Description
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
- Attend to breakdowns and planned maintenance during the shift.
- Ensure that all allocated maintenance activities are done in a safe and timely manner. Participate in the upkeep of the maintenance area workshop and tools according to 5S standards.
- Participate in machinery improvement activities to improve machine reliability.
- Report in detail all work performed on the shift through SAP PM ensuring that all Work Orders for activities are confirmed in SAP PM by the end of the shift.
- Carry out maintenance activities according to OSHA standards.
THE ENVIRONMENT
- Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
- The job is within a nonclimate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold) forklift and pedestrian traffic and noise.
- The role involves various physical tasks including lifting bending stooping pushing pulling and operating a forklift with comprehensive training provided.
Qualifications :
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Associates Degree in related field or
- 5 years of maintenance experience in leu of associate degree
- Strong electrical mechanical / mechatronics background
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Willing to work 12hour rotational shift pattern including days nights and weekends.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- PLC experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley
- Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience
