Role/Department

The Resiliency Integrated Testing Senior Consultant will support the Enterprise Operational Resiliency Program where the focus is on managing resiliency testing processes and activities within a defined plan. This will be accomplished by the design and of various resilience testing and exercise scenarios.

The key responsibilities of the role include;

  • Execute complex Operational Resiliency tests and exercises to assess and enhance the Northern Trusts ability to respond and recover from disruptions.

  • Integrate Operational Resiliency testing and exercises into the existing landscape of testing and exercises and understands how the Northern Trusts various testing regimes promote Enterprise Resiliency.

  • Support the development of a comprehensive scenario inventory of severe but plausible scenarios.

  • Support the design and of test objectives scope and success criteria with input from stakeholders to establish the basis for quality outcomes.

  • Escalate gaps identified from resilience tests and exercises in a timely and effective manner.

  • Provide support to business unit leaders and other stakeholders on resilience scenario testing and methodology.

  • Fully participate in exercises performed with 3rd parties and external partners.

Skills/Experience

The successful candidate will benefit from having;

  • Previous experience in performing testing and exercises with experience business continuity and/or disaster recovery.

  • Experience of developing testing scorecards and effectively and efficiently communicating test status at different levels of the organization (from individual contributor to Management)

  • Knowledge of resilience testing and exercise methodologies including tabletop exercises functional exercises isolated recoveries and fullscale simulations.

  • Knowledge of Financial Services business capabilities applications processes and infrastructure required to deliver endtoend capability.
