Ocean Park Mechanical is one of the premier designbuild mechanical contractors in Western Canada and Western USA with operations in Washington Oregon California and British Columbia. Specializing in value added engineering and designbuild projects our goal is always to build the most efficient systems for the best value possible.
With projects ranging from lowrise and highrise residential hotels and offices as well as industrial and commercial projects we have continually proven our ability and desire to provide the best service possible for our clients. By providing the majority of mechanical requirements inhouse including engineering 3Ddesign plumbing sheet metal HVAC refrigeration and controls we are a ONESTOP shop for any project.
We are looking for permanent fulltime Plumbing Journeymen for highrise residential projects in Vancouver Richmond Surrey Langley and New Westminster with more to come.

Reporting Structure: The Journeyman/woman Plumber reports directly to the Foreman/woman or Leadhand Plumber.
Duties will include:
- Installing piping for different systems (HRVS ERVS VRF 4pipe fan coils 2pipe fan coils vertical heat pumps)
- Installing and layout of piping systems including piping for drainage domestic water stainless and gas.
- Installing all seismic for all piping and equipment
- Installing fixtures including roughin components
- Hanging and installing all piping and equipment
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Locate and mark locations for pipe connections passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
- Testing pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.

Qualifications:
- Plumbing Red Seal Ticket
- Minimum of 1 year experience as JM/W
- Ability to meet sensitive timelines
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to adapt to the changes of the daytoday workloads
- Ability to interpret blueprints specifications inspection reports etc.
- Ability to work with subcontractors and vendors
