Job Title: Match Support Specialist
Reports To: Match Support Program Supervisor
Location : Remote with Ann Arbor office days (Michigan ONLY candidates)
Status: Full Time
FLSA Status: Exempt
**The position is mainly remote but it requires select inoffice days in Ann Arbor each month and limited travel throughout the state to visit families or attend meetings and events.

Job Summary:
  • The Match Support program is a division of the Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) that provides shortterm interventions for families who are in the process of adopting a child from foster care whom they have been matched with from the MARE website.
  • Specialists have weekly scheduled calls with clients; attend monthly home visits and meetings; provide support resources and community service information; and complete required documentation.
  • Match Support Specialists have low caseloads so that they can provide personalized services to meet each familys unique needs.
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in social work or related human service field is required
  • Experience with adoption foster care or child welfare is preferred.
  • Valid Michigan Drivers License with proof of appropriate auto insurance
