Job Description
A leading Independent School in Ealing seeks a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our thriving and academically focused department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire a love of literature language and creative writing in students with a wide range of abilities.

About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 35 including GCSE and ALevel English Literature and Language.
- Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and encourage critical thinking analytical skills and creative expression.
- Assess student progress through essays presentations creative writing pieces and examinations providing detailed and constructive feedback.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as debating societies creative writing clubs and theatre trips.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English with a strong academic background in the subject.
- Extensive experience teaching English at the secondary level including GCSE and ALevel.
- A deep understanding of English literature and language and the ability to inspire a love of the subject in students.
- Excellent communication analytical and organizational skills.
