We are seeking an exceptional English Teacher to join our highachieving grammar school where academic curiosity intellectual challenge and a love for learning are at the heart of everything we do.
What Youll Do
- Deliver engaging and thoughtprovoking English lessons that inspire a deep appreciation for literature and language.
- Encourage students to analyse texts develop critical arguments and engage in literary discussions.
- Use a range of classical and contemporary texts to challenge students and broaden their understanding of literature and communication.
- Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as creative writing clubs debating societies Oxbridge preparation and literary events.
Who You Are
- A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a passion for academic excellence and inquiryled learning.
- An educator who can stretch and challenge the brightest students while supporting a range of learning styles.
- Someone who understands English as both an art and a discipline shaping the way students think write and express themselves.
