What Youll Be Doing

As the Engineering Manager for our Apps team youll lead the team that owns all of Anyfins consumerfacing touchpoints from our mobile apps to the web platform. Your focus will be mobilefirst but youll oversee the entire frontend experience ensuring that our users get a seamless fast and delightful experience no matter how they interact with us.

Your role will be a mix of leadership and technical expertise guiding a team of skilled frontend engineers on the front lines. Were looking for someone who thrives in a fastmoving environment and embraces change because lets be real change happens whether were ready for it or not.

You enjoy collaborating crossfunctionally and know how to translate complex technical concepts into clear actionable insights for nontechnical stakeholders. Youre not just a great engineer youre also a strong communicator who enjoys working closely with product managers designers and business stakeholders to build great things together. You believe the best solutions come from real teamwork and open dialogue.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a highperforming frontend engineering team working with React React Native Node TypeScript and modern web technologies.
  

• Define and drive the technical strategy for our apps ensuring quality performance scalability and an outstanding user experience.
  

• Act as a bridge between tech and business helping the team understand the why behind what we build and making complex technical ideas accessible to nontechnical colleagues.
  

• Mentor and support engineers at different levels fostering a culture of learning collaboration and continuous improvement.
  

• Work handson when needed guiding architectural decisions and contributing to the codebase.
  

• Collaborate crossfunctionally with product managers designers and backend teams to shape the future of Anyfins consumer experience.
  

• Promote best practices in frontend development ensuring maintainable wellstructured and efficient code.
  

Who You Are

• A proven leader with 5 years of experience managing engineering teams ideally in a mobilefirst frontendfocused environment.

• A natural collaborator who enjoys working closely with people across functions youre as comfortable in technical deepdives as you are explaining tradeoffs to product or design.
  

• Expertise in React Native TypeScript and modern web frameworks.
  

• Experience working with native mobile development (Swift/Kotlin) is a plus.
  

• Strong business instincts you know when to go for quick wins and when to invest in longterm solutions.
  

• A passion for creating fast beautiful and userfriendly applications.
  

• Someone who gets excited about performance optimization and hates overengineering.
  

• Experience with CI/CD automated testing and cloud environments (GCP or similar) is a plus.
