Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an AM Law 100 firm that represents clients at the forefront of technological advancements ranging from aviation to artificial intelligence and possesses a thorough understanding of their industries and evolving needs. With 21 offices across the United States Asia and Europe and a global network of legal partners we are searching for a midlevel attorney with a background in Construction Litigation.
DEPARTMENT INSIGHT:
Our clients Construction Law Team provides comprehensive legal support for public and private projects guiding clients through every stagefrom project conception and funding to design procurement and construction. The team specializes in contract drafting and negotiation compliance matters claims management and dispute resolution leveraging innovative technologies to handle construction delays cost overruns and insurance coverage issues. With expertise in project development contract administration and risk mitigation this group ensures seamless of national and international construction projects.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Chicago office is seeking a Construction Law Associate 2 years of experience) to support its thriving construction litigation and advisory practice. The team advises clients across public and private projects handling contract drafting and negotiation risk management compliance and dispute resolution.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of construction law or complex litigation experience
- Strong background in litigating construction disputes including delay and disruption claims mechanics lien and bond disputes breach of contract claims and product defect claims
- Handson motion practice discovery and dispute resolution experience
- Excellent academic credentials legal writing and oral advocacy skills
- Active Illinois Bar membership
- AmLaw 100 firm experience or judicial clerkship preferred
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Compensation: $230000 $370000
