Job Description
Finmatics is a fastgrowing software as a service (SaaS) company that provides artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to thousands of businesses of all sizes. Our mission is to automate financial & accounting processes in order to eliminate unnecessary manual tasks.
We are seeking an experienced and talented Staff Frontend Engineer (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering department you will work on a variety of projects collaborating closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver topnotch software solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive highperformance user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks (Angular preferred).
- Define technology roadmaps and best practices for frontend development ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Optimize web applications for speed accessibility and crossplatform compatibility.
- Ensure clean maintainable code following Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and enhance system architecture.
- Lead and mentor frontend engineers fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Participate in Agile methodologies including sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in frontend development with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks such as Angular React or Vue.js (Angular preferred).
- Solid understanding of responsive design accessibility and frontend performance optimization.
- Experience working with backend technologies and APIs.
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS GCP or Azure) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with fullstack development and API integration.
- Knowledge of modern build tools and testing frameworks.
- Background in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in at least one stronglytyped language: Golang Java or Kotlin.
