Job Description
SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) SchoolBased Travel Contract
Location: Federal Way WA
Duration: 42 Weeks Travel & Local Candidates Welcome
About the Opportunity:
Join our dynamic educational team as a School SpeechLanguage Pathologist and make a real impact on students communication and learning success. We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable SLP to support students with a variety of speech language and swallowing needs.
Position Overview:
- Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (Beginning and ending times may vary depending on student needs and assigned school placement TBD.
- Guaranteed Hours: Up to 37.5 hours weekly
- Weekly Compensation: $2175 $2250
- Start Date: TBD due to school year preparation and training
- Training: Prior to the school year a training schedule will be provided (TBD)
Primary Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive speech language and swallowing assessments.
- Design and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each student.
- Provide engaging therapy sessions focused on improving communication.
- Collaborate with teachers staff and families to enhance student outcomes.
- Document evaluations progress notes and treatment summaries accurately.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology.
- Active SLP License for the state of Washington (WA).
- CCCSLP credential through ASHA.
- Recent schoolbased experience (minimum 1 year).
- Strong communication and problemsolving abilities.
Travel Benefits:

Candidates residing 50 miles from the assignment site are eligible for travel pay.
