Job Description
Our client an innovative Italian company from Puglia with over a decade of expertise in thermoplastic manufacturing is expanding to Hungary. They specialize in designing and producing thermoformed packaging solutions particularly for the automotive industry.
Description
As a CAD Packaging Engineer you will use SolidWorks to create 3D designs of thermoformed trays and later progress to designing molds for production. The role includes occasional European travel 23 days max once monthly) and an initial training period in Italy 1 months based on experience).
Requirements
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software.
- Knowledge of thermoforming injection molding or mold design processes.
- Preferably 12 years of experience in plastics transformation (e.g. thermoforming) or industrial packaging (e.g. automotive suppliers).
- Good English skills (Italian is a big plus).
- Technicalmechanical background or education.
- Willingness to travel in Europe 23 days max once monthly) and train in Italy 1 months).
- SolidCAM knowledge is an advantage but not required.
