Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented Website Developer to join their team and play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and user experience.

Scope of Work:

  • Develop a secure userfriendly and informative website that adheres to the entities corporate identity guidelines.
  • Ensure compatibility with Microsoft applications and services.
  • Implement modern user interface and responsive design for various devices and screen sizes.
  • Maintain continuous operation of the website with defined maintenance windows.
  • Provide ongoing website maintenance and support during weekdays between 8am to 5pm.
  • Resolve any interruptions or issues promptly to ensure a guaranteed uptime of 99.9.
1. Website Support and Issue Correction
  • This service involves promptly addressing and resolving any issues encountered on the website within required timeframes to ensure seamless functionality and user experience.

2. Frontend/Backend Audit Trails
  • Designing audit trails for both the frontend and backend of the website is crucial for tracking user interactions content changes and revisions. The audit trails must be visible only to administrators and extractable in various formats like excel CSV or PDF.

3. Monitoring and Reporting
  • The ability to track and provide reports on key website statistics such as the number of users visits page impressions top entry pages successful/unsuccessful requests etc. is essential for evaluating website performance and making informed decisions for enhancements.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in website development guidelines for South African Government websites.
  • Experience with backend navigation on wellknown platforms.
  • Ability to create an eyecatching and professional website that clearly communicates the objectives of the PSC.
  • Familiarity with multilanguage features for English Afrikaans Zulu and Sepedi.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
