The Electronic Health Records/Health IT Account System Administrator will support a range of system administration tasks related to the Electronic Health Records (EHR) program. The ideal candidate must have strong technical troubleshooting skills be detailoriented and demonstrate the ability to maintain system operations and security while working in a healthcare IT environment.
The role requires experience in an EHR system system configuration user account administration and hardware/software support. Candidates should be comfortable working with inventory systems remote support tools and enterprise applications such as Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
Create change and delete user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and related systems.
Diagnose and recover from hardware/software failures; investigate and troubleshoot escalated technical issues.
Apply OS patches and upgrades; update administrative tools and utilities as needed.
Support and administer a variety of tools and platforms including Keystone Edge DocuSign VITA Remote tools DEXIS Adobe and Asset Panda.
Utilize tools such as VPN access Microsoft Office Suite Teams SharePoint and others for operational and collaboration needs.
Maintain documentation on operational/configuration procedures and contribute to performance reporting and capacity planning.
Support inventory tracking and updates using systems such as Asset Panda.
Work within the structure of an Electronic Health Record system to support account and access needs.
Provide Tier III or other IT support for internal teams and business users.
Experience with a recognized Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Understanding of IT risk factors in application security and infrastructure related to EHR
