Job Description

Special Education Teacher Position 2025/2026 Opportunity!

Clarifi Staffing Solutions seeks a collaborative and dedicated professional who thrives in a teamoriented environment working closely with parents caregivers and staff to develop comprehensive educational strategies tailored to each student s unique needs. As an LBS1 Specialist you will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) that address the specific learning requirements of students in a selfcontained classroom ensuring they receive the support necessary for academic and personal growth.

Position Highlights:

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Maintain detailed records of student progress and IEP goals.
Collaborate with school staff and parents to enhance student learning.
Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles.
Develop and implement effective IEPs that cater to students individual needs.
Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay informed on best practices in special education.

Requirements

Candidates with prior experience working with students with disabilities are strongly preferred for this role. A Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Special Education or a related field is required. Additionally applicants must hold an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement to be considered.
