1. Content Creation and Curation
- Develop curate and schedule engaging content tailored for various social media platforms including Facebook Instagram Twitter LinkedIn and others
- Guide the production of shareable digital content such as graphics videos infographics and animations
2. Community Engagement
- Monitor social media channels daily responding to comments messages and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
3. Campaign Planning and
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to align social media efforts with broader campaigns and initiatives
- Support paid marketing activities by assisting in the planning and tracking of sponsored posts and advertisements
4. Analytics and Reporting
- Monitor and analyze social media analytics and performance metrics
- Provide regular reports and insights to the Global Social Media Coordinator to inform datadriven strategies and content optimization
5. Creative Strategy and Innovation
- Stay up to date with emerging social media trends tools and best practices
- Propose and implement creative approaches to enhance audience engagement such as hashtag campaigns contests and interactive posts
6. Visual and Multimedia Support
- Provide photo and video support including basic editing and ensuring highquality visuals for social media channels
- Work with the design team to create visually compelling assets that align with brand guidelines and ensure consistency across platforms
7. Strategic Alignment
- Support the development implementation and management of CIFORICRAF s social media strategy in collaboration with the Global Social Media Coordinator
8. Additional Tasks
- Assist in other tasks related to science writing event coverage and live social media reporting
- Perform any other duties as required by the COE team
Bachelor s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably within a nonprofit, research, or environmental organization Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and basic video editing Experience in paid social media campaigns is a plus Excellent writing and communication skills in English
