Requirement and Skills
o Proven software development experience in PHP
o Understanding of any PHP framework preferably Laravel
o Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML CSS Javascript
AJAX etc
o Good knowledge of relational databases version control tools and of
developing web services
o Experience in common thirdparty APIs
o Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold
ideas
o Understanding of objectoriented PHP programming.
o Good problemsolving skills
Required skills and attributes: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. Demonstrated experience managing the Microsoft SQL Server technology stack. Strong technical expertise in database administration and SQL programming/optimisation. Experience with automation tools or scripting (particularly PowerShell). Demonstrated experience managing cloud environments (especially AWS and MS Azure). Demonstrated experience with database monitoring and alerting. Familiarity with data security practices and compliance standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. (Desirable) Experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems in retail operations. (Desirable) Customer service mindset and an ability to work with teams of varying levels across multiple geographies.
