Position Summary:
The Principal Security Architect is a technical leader responsible for securing automotive retail experience for millions of customers on an industry leading SaaS platform.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Strategy:
Exemplify security principles and culture
Lead the development of CDKs security strategy
Design and implement technology and processes on CDKs most critical security projects
Effectively partner across security technology and business teams
Provide technical leadership to security and technology teams focusing on technical and engineering excellence
Develop effective security metrics and use them to drive improvements
2. Security Standards:
Guide the development and continuous improvement of security standards and guidelines in alignment with risk and compliance requirements
Drive accurate measurement and reporting of CDKs compliance with security standards
Drive adoption of security standards across product technology and infrastructure teams
3. Security Architecture and Engineering:
Guide development of secure architecture practices across security and technology teams cloud product identity network infrastructure
Develop repeatable engineering and automation patterns to enable secure by default systems and processes
Solve the hardest and most complex security and technology problems at CDK global
Lead the security engineering community to develop a shared pool of good security practices
4. Security Operations:
Work with CDK Security Operations team to identify and enable detection for advanced/complex scenarios
Drive good development practices in orchestration and automation of macro response workflows
Be a force multiplier in rare security incident scenarios
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 12 years industry experience with at least 8 years in security.
Strong background in security architecture design and operations preferably in a complex SaaS or eCommerce environment.
Experience designing and deploying infrastructure as code in a multitenant public cloud environment.
Extensive experience with product application infrastructure network identity and cloud security solutions
Experience designing and implementing complex multidisciplinary security solutions
Salary: $180K $225K Bonus
CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors including but not limited to skills experience certifications and work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical dental and vision benefits in addition to:
