Job Description

This role is essential in ensuring the successful implementation of energy efficiency initiatives by conducting site inspections verifying project scopes and ensuring compliance with program requirements.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and schedule site visits with commercial and industrial customers.
  • Review and analyze pipeline data/reporting.
  • Conduct inspections to document existing building conditions operations and schedules and identify potential efficiency measures.
  • Verify compliance with program requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with building owners operations staff and contractors.
  • Confirm project scopes of work with customers and ensure alignment with project applications and records.
  • Develop inspection reports summarizing onsite findings including photographs and action items to resolve discrepancies.
  • Utilize program workbooks and manage the inspector queue.
  • Complete assigned work on time and within budget.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation for site visits with responsibility for vehicle maintenance and fees.
  • Ability to work effectively and respectfully with culturally diverse customers and contractors.
  • Aptitude for understanding building science including mechanical electrical and/or weatherization technologies across various building types.
  • Strong computer and recordkeeping skills with proficiency in MS Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience conducting energy efficiency inspections for commercial and/or industrial buildings.
  • Strong critical thinking analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Teamoriented handson adaptive and clientfocused.


Experience and Education:


  • Bachelors degree or Associates degree with at least four years of relevant experience.
