About the Opportunity
Berendsen Fluid Power Richlands operates a wellequipped and resourced workshop and machine shop that overhauls and rebuilds hydraulic cylinders hydraulic pumps and motors and is the base for a team of field service technicians that provide a range of breakdown and maintenance services to users of hydraulic equipment throughout South East Queensland.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a suitably experienced tradesman to provide leadership across the hydraulic cylinder rebuild and machine shop activities and to forge a career pathway within this rapidly growing national business.

About You
- Possess the ability and drive to lead a small team of workshop tradesman.
- Relevant Trade Qualifications (Diesel Mechanical or Hydraulic Fitter).
- Strong experience in hydraulic cylinder rebuilding & machining
- Customer focused with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise service reports.
- Valid drivers licence and the flexibility to work overtime as required.
The Role
- Lead a team of tradespeople and apprentices overseeing their work and assigning tasks to meet deadlines effectively.
- Understand workshop workflow and collaborate with team on job scheduling and resource allocation to achieve maximum efficiency and economy.
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
- Promoting and demonstrating safety behaviours and reporting processes.
