Job Description
Overview
The PHP Laravel Developer plays a crucial role in the design development and implementation of web applications using the Laravel framework. With a strong foundation in PHP programming the developer will be responsible for creating efficient backend components and ensuring seamless integration with the frontend technologies. This role is significant within the organization as it not only focuses on delivering highquality software solutions but also emphasizes the importance of collaboration with frontend developers designers and QA teams to enhance user experience and optimize application functionality. With at least five years of experience the ideal candidate will also be adept in JavaScript HTML and CSS enabling them to contribute to fullstack development projects. Ultimately the PHP Laravel Developer will ensure that applications are built to maintain high standards of performance and security key to meeting our business goals and providing topnotch services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop test and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient PHP code.
- Implement application features and functionalities according to requirements.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues swiftly.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Design and implement database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Ensure application security through secure coding practices.
- Utilize version control systems to manage code changes.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Document application processes and technical specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Assist in the deployment of applications and services.
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure quality assurance and error resolution.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
- Strong experience with the Laravel framework.
- Proficient in JavaScript HTML and CSS.
- Solid understanding of MVC architecture.
- Experience in RESTful API design and integration.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g. Vue.js React) is a plus.
- Experience using Git or other version control systems.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- Experience with debugging tools and techniques.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
