About the Physics Teacher Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join our thriving Science department. The successful Physics Teacher will have the opportunity to teach Physics across Key Stages 35 inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for the subject.

Responsibilities of the Physics Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver highquality Physics lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore Physics concepts and develop their scientific skills.
  • Teach a variety of Physics topics ensuring students gain a solid foundation in the subject.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Physics providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum and departmental resources.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Physics teaching.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Physics or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Physics at the secondary level.
  • A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Physics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for Physics and a commitment to inspiring students.
