Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating various machinery and tools. This role involves working with precision equipment to manufacture highquality components and products ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various machining equipment including lathes mills and CNC machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for machining tasks.
- Utilize measuring tools such as calipers micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy in production.
- Program CNC machines as required for specific production runs.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
- Work with plastics injection molding processes when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and quality control.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating power tools and machinery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Familiarity with tooling programming and operating CNC machines is essential.
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing highquality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively.
