Job Description: Maintenance Technician Helper
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Support technicians in diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential maintenance issues.
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team on various projects and tasks.
- Assist with preventive maintenance tasks according to the established schedule.
- Document completed work and communicate with supervisory staff about the status of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to maintenance work.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record may be required.
Desired Experience:
- Experience with electrical systems plumbing HVAC and carpentry is a plus.
- Prior experience in a commercial or industrial maintenance role is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations relevant to maintenance operations.
