Position: Audio Editor
Working hours/Shift: Fulltime 3040 hours per week (Eastern Time Zone)
Salary Range: USD 1500 / month
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Audio Editor to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in editing mastering and proofreading audiobooks for our diverse range of projects. Our company produces 6070 audiobook titles per month and we are scaling up to meet increased demand. The primary tools for this role will be Pro Tools and you will be expected to deliver polished professional CRX packs for final delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and master audiobooks to meet highquality standards.
- Proofread content for accuracy clarity and consistency.
- Work within project deadlines (typically 12 weeks per project).
- Utilize Pro Tools for all editing tasks ensuring seamless audio quality and format compliance.
- Produce CRX delivery packs for final project submission.
- Collaborate with project manager and other editors to ensure smooth project workflows and timely completion.
- Maintain consistent communication with the team to ensure all deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in audiobook editing audio mastering or related fields (at least 23 years)
- Proficiency in Pro Tools for editing and mastering audiobooks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain highquality standards.
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time to meet deadlines.
- Experience working with CRX delivery packs and audiobook specifications.
