Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HVAC Controls Apprentice to join our team. As an apprentice you will work closely with skilled technicians and engineers to install maintain and troubleshoot HVAC control systems with a focus on Medsis systems. This is an excellent opportunity to gain handson experience in the HVAC industry while receiving valuable training to build your career in building automation and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC control systems specifically Medsis.
  • Support senior technicians and engineers in performing service calls preventive maintenance and system repairs.
  • Learn to program calibrate and test HVAC control systems.
  • Ensure proper wiring installation and calibration of sensors and controllers.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure work is completed safely and to specifications.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures when working with HVAC systems and controls.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interest in learning about HVAC systems controls and building automation.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment as needed.
  • Valid driver's license (preferred depending on the company requirements).
