Job Description
We are seeking a Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13week travel/contract assignment in Davis CA. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply.
Job Details:
- Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1890 $2100
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients physical cognitive and emotional conditions to develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide therapy to improve motor skills coordination and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Utilize therapeutic exercises adaptive equipment and assistive technology to enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians nurses and physical therapists.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and strategies for continued progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy with a minimum of a Masters Degree in OT.
- License: Active California State OT license (or eligibility).
- Experience: 1 year of occupational therapy experience.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 50mile radius qualify for travel pay.
