- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): We are in a strategic initiative that revolves around growth and M&A activities so any experience with combining the teams technologies and processes of major companies is ideal.
- Also working on a major ERP implementation so that would be a big bonus as well!
- Any previous background as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst would be good. Looking for analytical detail and process oriented people.
- Experience managing budgets/SOWs around $310M.
- Need to be able to run a project from early stages of design phases all the way through to implementation.
- Usually Agile projects but also sometimes Waterfall whatever it takes to execute and get it done.
- There is a vacancy so this would be backfilling for that person could be a replacement/FTE role in the future.
- Azure DevOps MS Project Smartsheets are all good to have but not drop dead must haves as long as they have similar experience.
Overview:
- As a project manager in a PMO your primary role is to ensure the successful delivery of projects by managing timelines budget resources and stakeholder expectations.
- The overall scope of a PMO Project Manager encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the successful delivery of projects within an organization.
- Responsible for planning project objectives scope and feasibility. This involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify the projects purpose desired outcomes and any potential risks or constraints.
- Oversees the implementation of the project plan. This includes ensuring that team members perform their tasks as outlined maintaining effective communication collaboration and coordination among team members.
- Monitors the projects progress against the plan. Ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget. Document and mitigate risks and issues as they arise.
- Finalizes all deliverables conducts a thorough review or evaluation and obtains formal acceptance from stakeholders. Capture lessons learned and best practices to improve future project delivery.
- Identify and engage with all relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. They manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their needs are met facilitating effective communication and collaboration between stakeholders and the project team.
- Manages project resources including team members budget and equipment. They ensure resources are used efficiently and effectively to achieve project goals and address any resource constraints or conflicts that may arise.
- Be proficient in various project delivery methodologies including Agile Waterfall and hybrid approaches. They select the appropriate methodology for each project based on its specific requirements and constraints adapting and applying best practices from different methodologies to optimize project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Initiation:
- Define project objectives scope and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop a comprehensive project plan that includes timelines milestones and resource allocation.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
and Implementation:
- Lead the project team in executing the project plan ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
Must Have Skills:
- Bachelors degree in a related business field
- 5 years of Agile project/program management experience within a large organization preferably in the IT sector.
- Software development/SaaS Infrastructure ERP (Workday Oracle) implementation and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) experience.
- Any previous background as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst is ideal. Looking for analytical detail and process oriented people.
- Any experience in professional services (Deloitte Accenture PWC EY KPMG) is a plus
- Experience with Agile Waterfall and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Proven ability to prioritize and drive solutioncentric efforts across geographically distributed teams.
- Strong background in utilizing digital cloudbased emerging technologies and data analytics.
