Overview
The Oracle Cloud Developer plays a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of Oracle Cloud Applications. This position is essential for organizations transitioning to cloud services as it requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies and the ability to design develop and support various applications leveraging Oracles robust suite of cloud offerings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating scalable solutions using Oracle technologies ensuring integration with existing systems and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to meet business goals. With a focus on innovation and best practices this role demands not only technical proficiency but also a keen understanding of business needs and user experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and deploy Oracle Cloud applications according to business requirements.
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration between applications.
- Write debug and optimize PL/SQL code for performance and reliability.
- Participate in requirement gathering and analysis to define project scope.
- Implement best practices in cloudbased application architecture.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT solutions with business objectives.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications before deployment.
- Monitor application performance metrics and make necessary adjustments.
- Develop user documentation and provide training to endusers.
- Facilitate code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions with team members.
- Stay updated with Oracle Cloud features and enhancements.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for continuous integration and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Adhere to security and compliance standards in all development processes.
- Contribute to project planning and status reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Cloud development and management.
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle databases.
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and frontend technologies.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience in designing cloudbased solutions on Oracle platforms.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Relevant Oracle Cloud certification is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Applications is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
