Job Description

We are now inviting applications from students in the final year of a degree in Spanish law duringwho are interested in joining our Madrid office in September 2026 for the purpose of undertaking the practical work experience (prcticas) required as part of the Master de Acceso a la profesin de la Abogaca y Procura imparted by a Spanish university and joining us as first year abogados immediately afterwards subject to their having passed the state exam.

Those selected will be assigned to one of our practice areas: Global Financial Markets (Banking & Finance and Capital Markets) IT/IP Litigation & Dispute Resolution (Barcelona).

Selection Process

The selection process comprises the following stages with the number of candidates being reduced at the end of each one:

  • Screening of candidate online applications. 
  • A video interview.
  • A written case study test (in English). 
  • A first competencybased interview with our HR department including an oral case study (in English).
  • A second (and possibly third) interview with partners and senior associates.

Qualifications :

What are we looking for

Spanish law graduates:

  • Studying the final year of a degree in Spanish law during 2024/25.
  • Undertaking the Master de Acceso a la profesin de la Abogaca y Procura during 2025/26.
  • With an excellent academic record (a minimum grade point average of a high Notable).
  • With a high level of written and spoken English. 

What else will we take into account

When reviewing your initial application we will take particular account of any of the following: 

  • Additional graduate qualifications held by you in Business Administration Economics or Political Sciences.
  • Relevant work experience gained during your graduate studies.
  • Positions of responsibility held whilst at school or university.
  • Fluency in languages other than English (e.g. Mandarin Chinese German or French).
