Call Coverage:
OP: New OB established OB new Gyn issues & surgical consultations; Surgical blocks are twice per week for nonemergent surgeries.
Includes all OB & emergency gyne & OB cases.
Patient Volume:
OP: 1625
IP: 36
Patient Demographics: Adult Adolescent
Annual Births: 600 per yr
Monthly Births: 50 per month
No. of Surgeries Per Week: 46
Admissions Required: Yes
of Practice:
Clinic is 3.5 days/week & 2 half OR days
Specialty Backup: Skilled gen surgeons & urologist.
Support Staff: Lab Tech LPN/LVN MA Xray Tech RN; with CRNAs & midwives.
Required Procedures: All ob/gyn procedures including Csection & Hysterectomies.
No. of Beds: 10
EMR: Epic
NICU Level: No NICU at Dodge
Other Info: No FMOBs at this time.
Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
KS License
BC/BE in OB/GYN (If BE must be 5 yrs post residency)
BLS
DEA (will consider a transferred DEA however must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment not just for shifts worked.
Procedure Logs within the past 24 mos (At least 5 Hysterectomies 5 CSections & Deliveries)
Must be able to understand & follow EMR training guidelines.
Complete the EMR Questionnaire.
Must be able to cover BOTH clinic & call.
