Job Description
A facility located near Plainview TX is seeking a Director of Acute Care to join their team!
Pay: $83000 $126000 / annually
Director of Acute Care Opportunity:
- Fulltime directhire position
- Monday Friday with some flexibility
- Setting: hospital
Director of Acute Care Responsibilities:
- Maintains effective communication and coordination of activities between other departments and staff members
- Ensures departmental compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepares and monitors and adheres to annual hospital and operational budgets
- Ensures adequate staffing in order to achieve departments function and purpose Completes and maintains departmental staffing plan and reports negative variance to supervision
- The director of acute care will complete initial departmental orientation and competency review for newly hired employees
Director of Acute Care Requirements:
- TX or compact state RN license
- BSN required
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS within 90 days of hire
- 2 years of nursing leadership experience
- 2 years of acute care experience
- 2 years of cardiac experience
