Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a skilled IT Support Specialist to become an integral part of a thriving technology business! In this role you ll serve as the primary technical lifeline for valued clients delivering exceptional remote support while working directly with the business owner. You ll handle a variety of interesting technical challenges across Microsoft 365 environments and general IT troubleshooting with special focus on supporting healthcare industry clients. This position offers the perfect blend of technical problemsolving customer interaction and professional growth as the company expands its client base. The business owner is personally invested in your success and will provide handson training to enhance your skills and advance your career in IT support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt and professional Level 1 IT support to existing customers via phone and remote access tools
- Expertly manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 admin backend issues for business clients
- Respond efficiently to customer support requests during business hours ensuring minimal downtime
- Apply your technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve a wide range of software issues
- Provide specialized support to healthcare industry clients understanding their unique IT requirements
- Maintain clear professional communication with customers and management
- Document support activities and solutions for future reference
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience 23 years minimum) in IT support roles with demonstrated troubleshooting abilities
- Handson experience managing Microsoft 365 admin backend environments
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting is advantageous but not essential (training provided)
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to think critically under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Professional home office environment with minimal background noise suitable for client calls
- Reliable highspeed internet connection for seamless remote support
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the business owner
- Customerfocused mindset with commitment to providing exceptional service
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
