- Compile detailed working papers finalising yearend accounts
- Analysing General ledger passing recoding entries and yearend adjustments to finalise yearend accounts of Companies
- Compile and analyse financial statements as per FRS 102/105
- Coding the Trial balance into finalisation software and ensuring the consistency and accuracy of the figures (TaxCalc CCH Digita TaxFiler Xero Tax etc.
- Producing required reports and filing accounts with HMRC/Companies House
- Candidate should be capable of working independently with minimal senior intervention
- Correspondence with clients
Requirements
- CA ACCA B M MBA in Finance CMA InterCAs (with no exam leaves) CS Inter CS etc.
- Strong concepts of accounting finalisation and disclosures
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in UK yearend accounting and taxation
UK accounting software expertise mainly Xero QB IRIS CCH TaxCalc Digita etc. - Knowledge of Xero Quickbooks Dext HubDoc etc.
- Knowhow of UK topical issues
- Good written & spoken English communication strong interpersonal skills
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook Excel Word Teams etc.
- Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements
- Organisational and timemanagement skills
- Experience of working in a remote and hybrid team environment

About the ideal candidate: The ideal experienced applicant will have good practical understanding of VAT calculations, deadlines, and UK legislation and requirements, coupled with strong numerical abilities and proven experience in Xero, MS Office, in particular Excel. You will have knowledge of month-end and year-end returns and balancing with the ability to perform manual calculations, as and when required. Previous experience of working in a multi-frequency accounting environment is advantageous. Education background: Finance / Accounting background - B, BBA, MBA, M, CA background or better Essential competencies: - Passion for excellent customer service and maintaining quality relationships. Strong attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal with individuals at all levels.
