  • Hours of work: 8.30 5 (One day phone cover until 5.30

Summary and purpose of the Job:

Wavenet is seeking an organised and proactive individual who will be able to work as part of a team completing necessary administrative duties within the credit control department. As a credit control administrator you will be managing the credit control inbox ensuring all customer queries are responded to in a timely manner. You will be managing the monthly statement run ensuring the statement queries are responded to.  You will assist with the direct debit process ensuring this is completed accurately and on time and follow up with any problems or queries. You will assist in our suspension process actively communicating with customers to agree on payments and arranging payment plans if necessary to clear debt. The role will also involve cash posting and allocations.

You will need to be a highly organised and efficient individual with excellent time management and a high level of accuracy. Excellent communication and good people skills are vital for this role. You must be comfortable dealing with figures as well as constructing detailed reports and emails.

Responsibilities:
The extent of your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Responding to customer enquiries liaising with credit controllers to get the query resolved in a timely manner.
  • Processing direct debits ensuring data is accurate and processed in good time.
  • Proactively encouraging customers to sign up to direct debit ensuring mandates are setup correctly.
  • Processing a monthly statement run and answering related queries in a timely manner.
  • Completing a suspension of customer process and dealing with any problems that arise from this.
  • Cash posting and allocation ensuring accuracy.
  • Taking customer calls/taking payments over the phone.
  • General administrative duties updating systems completing supplier forms arranging refunds and any additional adhoc tasks that may be given to you.

Qualifications :

Experience:

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve queries both written and spoken.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Experience of time management and prioritising tasks
  • Excellent IT skills including previous experience with Excel Word and Outlook.
  • Strong team player with the drive and flexibility to support others in the team.
  • Telecoms / Technology experience would be desirable
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Experience in using Sage 200 cloud desirable
  • A positive can do attitude with the desire to archive targets at all times.
  • Motived and enthusiastic with an eye for details.

This role is a fulltime role working 37.5 hours each week between 8.305 with additional cover until 5.30 on a rota basis.
