Air New Zealand Engineering and Maintenance in Christchurch has vacancies for permanent Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Structures to join their team.
In this role you will be performing metal structural repairs and modifications on aircraft (including A320/321 CEO/NEO ATR72 Q300 and LC130 types) and components on the Air New Zealand fleet and customer aircraft.
We seek a person that is committed to a safe workplace is passionately customer focused and who is comfortable working as part of a team. Youll be adept at thinking outside the square while meeting compliance and company legislative/regulatory standards. Strong communication skills are critical as well as the ability to relate and interact with a wide range of people on a daytoday basis.
The technical skills you need:
- You will have a strong understanding of the Air New Zealand values with the ability to focus on our goals of Safe/Compliant/Efficient
- Completed Trade Apprenticeship aircraft industry or Level 4 National Certificate
- Knowledge and experience suitable for working on a broad range of repairs and fabrication of products relating to aircraft metal structure
- Previous structures/metal working experience is required.
Our Benefits:
Base Salary starting package of $81000$120000 (dependant on skillset and experience) per annum a 4 KiwiSaver match plus allowances (shift certifications & overtime).
