The Role You Will Play:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in both Silverstripe CMS development and React.js frontend development to join our dynamic digital team. As a senior member of the team you will be responsible for architecting developing and maintaining highquality web applications. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior developers and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to drive innovation and enhance the user experience on our digital platforms.
What You Will Bring to This Role:
Lead the design development and maintenance of web applications using Silverstripe CMS React.js Next.js and modern frontend technologies.
Collaborate with designers backend engineers and product managers to implement responsive usercentric solutions.
Architect scalable maintainable and performant web applications.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers ensuring high standards of code quality and best practices are followed.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring a seamless experience for users.
Drive improvements in development processes and tools advocating for the adoption of the latest technologies and techniques.
Contribute to the strategic planning and roadmap of digital products influencing product direction with your technical expertise.
Champion web accessibility standards and ensure the implementation of responsive design principles across all platforms.
Foster a collaborative agile development environment participating in sprint planning code reviews and retrospectives.
What Were Looking For:
5 years of experience in Silverstripe CMS development with a deep understanding of its features and capabilities.
Strong frontend development skills with expertise in React.js Next.js HTML CSS JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.
Proven experience architecting and delivering complex web applications at scale.
Strong knowledge of API integration version control (Git) and agile development methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior developers promoting best practices and continuous learning.
Indepth understanding of web performance optimization security best practices and web accessibility standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
