Job Description

Human Resources Pension Assistant FullTime 6Month Assignment)

Location: Largo MD
Duration: April 2025 September 2025
Hours: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Work Type: InPerson
Pay: $23/hour
Benefits: 12 Days PTO

Our client is on the lookout for an exceptional Human Resources Pension Assistant to join a dynamic Prince Georges County Government Agency! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain handson experience in HR pensions and retirement services while making a real impact on employees and retirees. If you have an eye for detail a passion for helping people and thrive in an administrative support role this is the role for you!

What Youll Do:

Administrative Support

  • Keep the Pension & Retirement Services Division running smoothly by providing toptier admin support!

  • Organize and schedule key meetings ensuring agendas and materials are ready to go.

  • Attend meetings as assigned by the Division Manager be a key part of the conversation!

Retirement Services Assistance

  • Be the goto person for routine retirement and pensionrelated inquiries.

  • Answer and direct phone calls while providing excellent service to employees and retirees.

  • Research and update retiree data in the Pension Gold system.

  • Assist in verifying County employees pension plan enrollment details.

Deferred Compensation Program Support

  • Assist in answering questions about the 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan help employees plan for their future!

  • Support the Deferred Compensation Analyst with key administrative tasks.

  • Track and compile important data such as webinar attendance and new plan enrollments.

What You Bring to the Table:

College Degree HR Business or related field preferred.
2 Years of Human Resources Experience Show us your HR skills!
2 Years of Customer Service Experience You know how to assist and support employees.
Microsoft Office Proficiency Excel Word Outlook you can handle them all!
DetailOriented Mindset Accuracy is key in this role!
