Job Description
Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Robbinsdale MN
Schedule: Varied Days/Evenings 8hour shifts 80 hours per pay period)
Hourly Rate: $35.82 $46.19 (based on experience)
SignOn Bonus:
- $7500 for candidates with 1 years of experience
- $5000 for candidates with less than 1 year of experience
- 2year commitment required
Position Overview:
The Certified Surgical Technologist provides essential support to surgeons and the operative team to ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures. This role includes assisting during surgeries preparing and caring for instruments and maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety. Works under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the surgical team with tasks including retracting suctioning and applying dressings
- Uphold sterile technique surgical asepsis and universal precautions
- Maintain prepare and care for surgical instruments and equipment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to emergency situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with professional standards regulatory laws and internal policies
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical and professional standards
