Confident Staff Solutions is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join our client on a temporary basis. As a leading staffing agency in the healthcare industry we pride ourselves on providing topnotch professionals to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing operating rooms for surgery including sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
Prepare patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites positioning them on the operating table and covering them with sterile drapes
Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures
Monitor and maintain a sterile environment during surgery including handling and disposing of contaminated items
Assist with wound closure and apply dressings as directed by the surgeon
Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments for use in future procedures
Collaborate with other members of the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care
Document all procedures and patient information accurately and in a timely manner
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS
Minimum of 2year experience as a Surgical Technician
Knowledge of surgical procedures instruments and equipment
Ability to work in a fastpaced and highstress environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Shift:
Shift Timings: 06:4517:15 Hours Monday to Friday 4 Days/10 Hours)
Hours:
Per Week: 40 Hours
