Job Description
As an Architect with a focus on VMware vSphere you are responsible for the endtoend (E2E) feasibility and the design of Hypervisor infrastructure. In this key position you will work closely with various TSystems units to test implement and maintain a stable hypervisor infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities:
- create releases images for FCI ESXi and vCenter upgrades intensive testing in the lab documentation of all changes to previous images security vulnerabilities patching.
- support the actual operational team (FCI).
- prepare implementation documents for ops team to successfully reinstall the production infrastructure.
- proper documentation to meet audit requirements.
- upgrade VMware Aria Suite products with documentation.
- maintain the lab environment in healthy condition for testing for all local teams.
- handle 3rd level escalations for VMware related topics
- creation of architecture designs for any new VMware products that will be implemented (Ex. Usage Meter)
- responsible for vROps reporting for certain usage that might be requested by other teams

Qualifications :
- A completed degree in (Business) Computer Science Engineering Sciences or a comparable education with relevant experience.
- Professional experience in virtualization environment with focus on VMware products and services
- Knowledge in protocol IP routing switching security and optional software development.
- experience with VROPS LogInsght Usage Meter
- Understanding of enterprise architectures network architectures and analytical thinking in complex environments.
- Certifications are an advantage especially:
- VCP certification
- ITIL Foundation
- Fluent English language skills both written and spoken.
- Teamwork conflict resolution skills and a confident demeanor in front of customers.
