Position Overview:

Vital Virtuals LLC is currently seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Virtual Assistant for Physical or Occupational Therapy Clinic (with PROMPT EMR Experience). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a remote setting. As a Remote Assistant for this office your responsibilities are listed below

Responsibilities:

Answer & manage incoming calls and emails from patients caregivers and providers.

Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinics calendar efficiently.

Verify insurance information and assist with basic billing inquiries.

Handle patient intake forms documentation and followup reminders.

Provide outstanding customer service while addressing patient inquiries.

Coordinate with therapists and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.

Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA compliance guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

At least 1 year of experience in a similar front desk or administrative role (preferably in a Physical or occupational therapy setting).

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Experience with scheduling software (such as AthenaHealth Jane App or SimplePractice) is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) and other administrative tools.

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fastpaced virtual environment.

A quiet and professional home office setup with a reliable internet connection.

Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus.

Benefits:

Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Hourly Comp: $5/Hr for first 3 months and $6/Hr afterwards

Time Zone: PST (Pacific Time Zone)

Full Time: 35 Hr/wk

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro at 32/64bit *Genuine CPU: Intel Core i5 8th gen and above or AMD equivalent

Power Backup (Power Pack): Its RECOMMENDED to have a gasoline powered Generator able to support laptop for at least 4 hours in case of power outage

Internet subscription/speed: At least 50 Mbps (DSL/Fiber only); LTE connection not accepted

Headset w/ mic (Recommended: Plantronics Audio 628 Stereo USB Headset)

Webcam: HD 720p/1080p (Recommended: A4Tech PK910H)

External monitor screen: 1719 or 22 inch in size
