Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Software Architect fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or onsite at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Work within the agile process and take decisions regarding priority business value and functionality for all the work done by the agile development team;
- Manage the contractors in charge of the development of the project and the separate contractor in charge of quality assessment;
- Oversee the development of the project which includes steering through daily contacts of the contractor on matters related to requirements elicitation architecture development code testing;
- Review deliverable and demonstrable product version/software functionalities after every sprint;
- Organize live demonstration of the product at the end of the sprint;
- Evaluate prioritization and resolution of defects/bugs.
Requirements
- Masters degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Excellent experience with large enterpriselevel multiuser Information Systems;
- Excellent experience in Agile and in agile toolbox (i.e. JIRA Confluence Big Picture Giffy Balsamiq etc.;
- Excellent knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle;
- Good Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF COBIT Zachman;
- Experience developing and building models based on architecture frameworks;
- Experience in creating technical documentation;
- The following certificates and standards are strongly recommended: Scrum Product Owner Project Management Professional PMI PRINCE2 Foundation PM ITIL v4 certification.
- Excellent command of the English language.

Rate: max daily 470 EUR/day gross depending on experience (including your rate).
