Director of PostSurgical Services and Neuroscience Unit
Location: Hickory/Lenoir/Charlotte Region NC

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of PostSurgical Services and Neuroscience Unit to join our leadership team. In this pivotal role you will lead the PostSurgical and Neuroscience Units ensuring the delivery of highquality safe and compassionate care to our patients.
The Director reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and assumes 24/7 responsibility for clinical operations staff development financial performance and regulatory compliance across assigned units. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape the future of surgical and neuroscience care in a supportive patientcentered environment.
Oversee daily operations ensuring compliance with all clinical regulatory and quality standards.
Develop and implement department goals policies and protocols to enhance patient outcomes.
Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Manage budgets and resources efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.
Lead staff recruitment hiring training and development promoting professional growth and engagement.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive performance improvements and integrate evidencebased practices.
Participate in quality audits and compliance initiatives to maintain accreditation standards.
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters Degree highly preferred.
Active and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
Minimum 5 years of RN experience with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role preferred.
Proven leadership ability with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a highstress environment while maintaining sound judgment and decisionmaking.
