Job Description

A vibrant Mixed School in Hounslow seeks a creative Design Technology Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to innovate and design for the future.

About Our Learning Community:

Our school provides a wellequipped workshop and design studio fostering a creative and collaborative learning environment.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 covering product design resistant materials and systems and control.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate CAD/CAM 3D printing and other modern technologies.
  • Guide students through design projects and assess their practical work.
  • Contribute to departmental meetings and extracurricular design clubs.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design Technology.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and practical workshop experience.
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
  • A passion for fostering creativity and innovation.
