Job Description

A wellrespected Church of England School in Hounslow seeks a dedicated and inspiring Mathematics Teacher to join our thriving department. We are looking for an educator who can foster a love of mathematics in students of all abilities and contribute to our schools strong academic ethos.

We have a wellresourced mathematics department with interactive whiteboards dedicated teaching spaces and a commitment to providing students with a highquality mathematical education.
  • About the Role:
    • Deliver engaging and differentiated Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 building a strong foundation in numeracy algebra geometry and statistics.
    • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities ensuring all students make good progress.
    • Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments providing timely and constructive feedback to guide their learning.
    • Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum and participate in departmental meetings and initiatives.
    • Offer support and guidance to students through extracurricular mathematics clubs or tutoring.
  • Ideal Candidate:
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics.
    • A strong understanding of the secondary mathematics curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
    • A commitment to the schools Christian ethos and values.
    • A passion for making mathematics accessible and enjoyable for all learners.
