Job Description
A prestigious Girls School in Kensington is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher with a specialism in Chemistry to join our highly successful Science department. We aim to inspire a love of scientific inquiry and empower young women to excel in STEM fields.

- About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 with a focus on Chemistry.
- Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that incorporate practical investigations data analysis and critical thinking skills.
- Assess student progress through lab reports presentations and examinations providing constructive feedback to support their scientific understanding.
- Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and participate in departmental initiatives to enhance teaching and learning.
- Potentially teach ALevel Chemistry based on experience and departmental needs.
- Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science with a strong background and specialism in Chemistry.
- A thorough understanding of the secondary science curriculum and effective teaching strategies for Chemistry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate female students in science.
- Strong practical skills and experience in laboratory work.
- A commitment to the schools ethos of academic excellence and the empowerment of girls.
